Backordered items can be canceled at any time before they are shipped. This does not include special orders, which are not cancelable for any reason.AVAILABILITY/BACKORDERSWhile Quality Gold makes every effort to maintain stock of all styles offered, this may not always be possible due to manufacturing issues. In the event that we are unable to satisfy an order immediately due to lack of stock, we will make every attempt to ship as soon as possible. As always, any time frames provided are approximate and cannot beguaranteed. The customer is responsible for keeping track of backorders and may contact customer service any time to obtain an estimated time of arrival. Backorders will be charged based on price of silver the day it is invoiced, not the date ordered.CUSTOM/SPECIAL ORDERS1. The following items qualify as special orders: a. Stone-set pieces. b. Merchandise altered at the customer%u2019s request from what is shown in the catalog. c. Items offered in standard sizes which are altered in length or diameter to the  customer%u2019s specifications. d. Some items ordered in quantities of 12 or more. e. All name jewelry. f. Assembled sports numbers. g. All engraved or personalized pieces. Quality Gold does not engrave on any  band 2mm or smaller. 2. Custom and Special order merchandise is made per the customer%u2019s direction.  Therefore, it is non-cancelable, non-returnable and non-refundable.  There are no exceptions made to this policy.3. Certain special order merchandise may require fax or voice confirmation before the  order can be processed to verify, clarify or confirm the contents of the order. 4. Special order delivery times can range between 5 days and 8 weeks. Your customer  service representative can advise you of the expected delivery time of your specific  item. As always, the times provided are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.5. Quality Gold is not responsible  for merchandise lost or damaged through carrier.2. Customers wishing to return merchandise must include a packing  slip and copy of the original invoice, along with reason for return  of merchandise. Packaged product must be returned in the original  packaging with all applicable paperwork contained in it.  Credits are granted at the discretion of Quality Gold.3. Merchandise received after 30 days of the invoice date will be subject to a  processing fee of up to 15%.4. For Net 30 Accounts, all returns received at our facility within 30 days of the  invoice date will be credited back to the original invoice.5. For COD Accounts, to receive a refund by check, return merchandise must be  received at our facility within 15 days of invoice date. Merchandise returned after  this time period will be credited against future purchases, and the amount of the  invoice is still due. Refund checks are only issued on the 15th and 30th of each month.6. Special order merchandise is non-cancelable, non-returnable and non-refundable.7. Merchandise that has been altered (i.e., engraved, sized, etc.) or  damaged by the customer is non-returnable.8. Earrings are non-returnable except for manufacturing defects.9. Lockets cannot be returned if engraved or dented while being engraved. Lockets  can not be machine engraved, only hand- or laser-engraving is recommended, and  individuals engraving lockets assume all risks.10. Any discontinued or closeout merchandise purchased on-line or at jewelry shows  cannot be returned for credit. Only current catalog styles can be returned for credit.11. Customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges. Credit will be given for merchandise only.12. Any item that has manufacturing defects will be exchanged at any time. The item will be credited at the original invoice price and then re-billed at the current price.13. Precious metal prices fluctuate daily and %u201cexchanges%u201d will receive a credit for the  original weight and price on the invoice. Then it is re-billed based on the price and  weight of silver the day it is reordered.14. Exchanges for like merchandise may not be %u201ceven%u201d based on differences in  the weight of the returned piece and the weight of the replacement piece.15. Return postage on defective merchandise will be refunded, up to $8.00 with receipt.16. Customers returning merchandise not purchased through Quality Gold will  be responsible for the shipping costs of returning the item to them.17. C.O.D. customers returning merchandise for credit may not utilize this credit  amount immediately due to processing.18. Unclaimed, undeliverable, or refused orders will be charged a processing  fee, plus freight.19. If silver merchandise is received tarnished, it may be returned. Any other tarnished merchandise returned will be cleaned and returned to the  customer at their expense.
